best thing I ever bought!
« on: April 25, 2011, 06:19:50 am »
Hi all  :)

I have had my tmx for just over 3 weeks now and absolutely love it!  I made hot x buns and fresh honey cinnamon butter on Saturday, and they were absolutely divine.  This morning I've whipped up some Anzac biscuits and am just waiting for Isi's 'normal' bread to peep through the top of my tmx lid.  Tonight I'm going to try Steamed Ginger Chicken with garlic rice and veg soup.  I make all my baby's food in it - it is such a breeze.  I think the biggest hit by far has been Rara's Cherry Bites.  I made them to give out as Easter eggs this year.  My sister had never considered getting one but says she's finding it hard to think of reasons not to buy one after seeing how much use I'm getting out of it.  I especially love the fact that I can just whip up some soup for lunch or dinner at the end of a long day, and it can cook itself while I settle the baby.  It's better than a toasted sandwich, and even easier I think.

Welcome rostess. You are certainly in the right place. It sounds as though you and your thermomix are great friends.

Welcome to the forum rostess, lovely to hear you are enjoying your TMX so much.  Good move making Rara's Cherry Bites to give out for Easter, everyone loves them.  Your sister is bound to get one too if she is so impressed with everything you've done so far.
