Last night on the way out of the kitchen I noticed my Thermie was making a loud buzzing noise  .  It was plugged into the socket and on, but not on at the machine.  It scared me to think that it might have been an electrical fault of some sort and turned off at the socket immediately,  My TM is always plugged in, so wondering if anyone has had this issue or heard of it and what I should do, I would hate to think it might cause a house fire.  I have turned the power at the plug on again this morning but the noise is not noticeable so far. 

Any help would be appreciated.

I have been having the worst luck possible - as per my choc mousse attempt - with using cream in my recipes.  I am just in the middle of the ice cream slice in EDC, which I have made previously, but this time and the last time I tried it, the cream is going really runny.  It is not whipping up at all.  Even though the cream has come straight from the fridge I am finding the bowl is getting too hot.  Even when I crushed the crunchie bars this morning they were stuck and beginning to melt on the bottom of the bowl after 7 secs.  HAS SOMETHING HORRIBLE HAPPENED TO MY TM!!!!   

I should have said that I am from Perth Western Australia, so looking forward to hooking up with other TM users in this part of the world. 

I steamed some fish the first night that I got my TM and the smell lingered in the Varoma and the bowl.  I cleaned it with suddsy warm water but had to leave the TM bowl and the Varoma outside overnight to get rid of the odour.  Don't know if I will do that again, unless someone has a great idea to share to aleviate this prob.
