I'm happy because it's Friday (glass of red next to me) and our little bird 'Doody' has been allowed home from the vet.  Poor thing has a sinus infection which has made one eye blow up like a balloon.  He has had 3 operations on it so far, and may still lose the eye, but we are giving him a different course of antibiotics and fingers crossed, that will work.

He's a cockatiel Michelle.  We had two - but 'woody' passed away in the awful heat we had in February and my daughter will be so distraught if we lose 'doody'.  But he is home now and asking for neck scratches and is whistling and talking and happy to be home.  We just hope these new antibiotics work.

It sounds as if Doody is very happy to be home kezza.  Poor bird, it sounds as if he has been through a lot.

Poor Doody Kezza, that sounds terrible :'( I'm glad he's home now :)

I'm happy it's been 4 hours since my last lot of panandol, so I can take more now and hope they stop this throbbing headache :-\

Kezza poor Doody. We fret too when our cockatiel is ill.

Amy it sounds like you need more thanPanadol for that headache.

I will check the medicine box Suzanne. There are plenty of pills in there so hopefully I will find something that works ;D
I thought it had gone, I was okay for a couple of hours over lunchtime, but it has come back now. I'm drinking lots of water, maybe I didn't drink enough yesterday and my brain is drying out :o
