after about 9 months in the freezer i should report it is still fantastic, my dinner guests love it

i have 1/2 kg of ricotta in the fridge and i don't remember y i bought it. no not for gnocchi it was something deep fried  :-))

Emme,  Maggie Beer has a brown sug. Pav with dried figs in it.  Very nice.

Thanks Chookie, have found a recipe on Maggie's site for brown sugar pav. but that does not mention dried figs.  Will keep searching.

I buy organic dried figs and a whole lot more  ;D  from here Karen. A group of us buy in bulk and then divide it up. Works out much cheaper than anywhere else (that I know of around Sydney) and the quality is always good.

I buy my seeds, fruit and nuts from Rays Nuts ,  in Hall St Moonee Ponds.  They are fresh and cheap.

i just found this Fig and Walnut roll in the freezer its been there since 8 Feb 2013 it looks just like the day i made and the taste is fantastic
