Marina, how is the hand?
Judy, Dr will ring with blood test results today.
K ATIE, know how you feel.  I did a little shopping yesterday.  Being very careful. Carry bottle of the gel in handbag. Not many people in shops .
Lamb, now follows me around.  Barr’s when hungry.

That is so cute Chookie. I have to agree about preferring lockdown. The crowds worry me as they come so close.

We went to Busselton today. We have only been allowed to move around the state since last Thursday, so we decided to have a day out. We left about 9 and got home about 4.30.
I made a picnic loaf to take for lunch.

This is the Ludlow Forest near Busselton. They are Tuart Trees.

Cookie, that’s a nice way to venture out.  We loved Busselton when we visited.  Loved the big trees.
Rals platelets were down a bit.  More fiddling with the medication.
More lamb and picking up GC from school.
Long weekend with Monday holiday.

Cuildih, what a great renovation, such a lovely living area, I love it.  No wonder you are so proud  :D

Frustrating for your DH chookie, I hope they can get it right.

No exciting news from me.  Have had a few days with practically no ccoking, just eating left overs but need to cook today.  DH back at work after his days off so will make something nice for him.  Also, he's taken the last of chookie's coconut biscuits so I may make some tahini ones today or tomorrow if I don't get the chance today.  :D

My hand is great now, thanks everyone for asking.

The day before yesterday, despite getting the clearance for my hand, went downhill so yesterday I had no silver lining - cutting a long story short I did absolutely the most idiotic thing I have ever done, I allowed myself to be scammed.  It was incredibly stressful and I feel such a fool, but it is over now.  We did lose a little bit of money, fortunately not much, but the silver lining eventually came (a) when I went to the bank and confirmed that we had lost very little (I managed to suspend our accounts in time, obviously) and (b) when "Geeks2U" came in and checked my computer over for any problems and changed all our passwords - the only trouble is, now I cannot get in to my new phone, none of the 'new' PINs are working!!

Ah well, silver lining, I am here, all is well, I have learned a lesson, licked my wounds and life goes on.  Sometimes some days just seem to be better (or worse) than others.  Long weekend coming up so I plan to enjoy lots of cooking and resting.

Marina how awful to get scammed like that.  So pleased that you didn't lose a lot of money.

I shopping today and bought some shoes and slippers for my self, a pair of new towels and a bathmat, a pair of winter sheets, 2 casual jackets and some track pants for DH.

My silver lining today is that the Telstra people came this morning and fixed my internet problems.   The pits for the telephone line were all full of water and some of the cables needed new fittings.  Keeping my fingers crossed that they have got it right this time.

We have had a new KMart and Bunnings stores open here in the last few weeks so I decided to have a look.  KMart shelves were mostly empty and look like being that way for a few weeks yet.  Bunnings is so much bigger than the little store we had before.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Sorry to hear of your problem Marina, you have such a great outlook on life and just seem to go with the flow whether that be a good or bad incident.
You will love those 2 new stores once they’re able to be fully stocked Margaret.
I’m waiting for my grand-dogs to come and stay the long weekend with me, unfortunately they cannot go with their family to Clare.

Oh Marina that is awful. I think it can happen to anyone. It is difficult to be aware all of the time.
Judy, enjoy the Grand doggies.
We had our long weekend last weekend when it was WA Day.
I had my hair cut this morning.

A lot has gone on with everyone it seems .
I spent all day in bed yesterday with what I think was another migraine. Today I had to get up and felt ok . Drive to pick DD up , seemed to collect a few girls and a return back to boardo . Eventually home . Yes a very fast trip including to supermarket for some fish for dinner . Managed to eat my first meal in two days . DH made an apple crumble too. Fires going , all home for the long weekend, may just let everyone else go adventuring and stay home ! Apparently Halls Gap is fully booked out ( CVirus here we come ) . DS spent his last day on line , including a Maths extra meeting at the end of the day ! Bed early to rest up . Silver lining having kids home and the best sunset .

Marina, don’t feel too bad about being scammed.  It has happened here.  I think it is quite common. Last time I rang the bank and they are very good at working out if it is a scam. Glad you didn’t lose too much.
K ATIE, hope you are feeling better.
Judy, enjoy the dogs.
Melbourne family coming tomorrow. Better get cooking.
We cleaned out the Chook shed yesterday.  Hosed out the laying boxes.

There is always a silver lining ... I needed some more blueberries and they guys I get them from sell at markets and today was St Kilda market so I went there to stock up.  Didn't have much time to walk around, but it is a lovely farmer's market and I should really make an effort to go again in summer ... when it is WARM AND DRY!

It's warm and dry here Marina. WE had 2 days of 25 and the third day was 24.9. It's quite warm but overcast. No rain is forecast. We are on sprinkler bans now until the end of August.
KAtie take it easy.
Enjoy the family visit Chookie.
