My grandpa is very unwell

He's not going to be around much longer

I feel so sorry for you Amy. I hope your grandpa isn't suffering. Wishing you the best during this time. I recently lost my most loving brother so I'm quite emotional when I hear of others being in such a position. Take care

I was only just talking to my mum about some people we know who are unwell and are not expected to live much longer. Big hugs from me.

Thanks ladies. Chrissa and Mandi, I feel for you too

Not long after my last post, my mum called me saying grandpa had been taken to hospital. We rushed up to see him and only just got home now. Here's a photo of me and grandpa in the hospital.
His breathing sounds terrible and he gets pain when he coughs or sneezes. We don't know how long he can keep going. He's 87 and had three heart surgeries, so I think we've done well to keep him this long

But its still not fair, and I hate the thought that I may have just seen him for the last time

He was telling me what he'd had for lunch and it made me want to run and get nana's thermomix so I could cook him a lovely soup or risotto or something
