Tonight we're having Maddy's Caesar Chicken burgers. They are so yummy.

We had Bedlam's Chorizo crust the other night on chicken and it was lovely. It made too much for the 3 of us so the rest is in the freezer waiting to be used.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Last night I mad Pizzas for dinner. The family devoured 3 large pizzas. I used a pizza tray for one, and the other 2 I used a Pizza stone. Does anyone else know the best way of using pizza stones? I had trouble with the base sticking. I added corn flour to the stone before placing the pizza dough on. Maybe I didn't use enough corn flour. Any help please.

When you roll out the pizza lift the dough and sprinkle flour on the board, place pizza dough back on board then pick up the board and make sure the dough will slide around easily when you move the board from side to side. The flour will allow you to slide the pizza once topped with ingredients onto the stone from your board ( we use a pizza peel - a board with a handle) and you can also sprinkle a little flour on your stone and spread it round before heating it :)

Thanks Meagan. We made another 2 pizzas today with much better success. I did spray the stone a little with oil and did what you suggested with the flour and had 2 perfect pizza's that didn't stick. Now the kids have some pizza to take to school for something different to the usual sandwiches. Thanks for everyone's advise.

BBQ at our place with Chookie's No Fuss Bread - the oven tray on top of the buns made great burger buns, thanks for the tip lovely lady.  Dessert was an adaptation (out of necessity) of sticky date pudding and butterscotch sauce.

I couldn't find where Chookie told us that method but I did find this comment from Maddy which should explain what to do to get hamburger buns for her recipe here.

"1 batch of chookies no fuss rolls (once in oven to cook, place a tray on top of rolls, that has been sprayed with canola oil.......great tip chookie   )"
