Yesterday  it rained heavily all day.  Today it is cold again.  First case of COVID in Ballarat today. First for a long time.

We've had a couple of COVID sites on our street this past week or two.  Took a test and both of us were negative, we both have also had our second AZ jab with the three month wait between each one so we are hoping we will have sufficient benefit from that in a week or two once our immunity has built up.

DS cooked scrambled eggs for His D ! DH had to click and collect his father’s day present from DD , well she organised it . An amazing friend of hers did a cupcake ,biscuit , slices Father’s Day Box . So incredible, hand painted biscuits , salted caramel popcorn, chocolate drops ! And her label was designed by my DD . DH was very excited, we feel a little sugared up right now ! Mini Pizzas for lunch . While DH did this DH and I checked the lambing ewes , DS drove the Ute I was the gate opener , we had fun doing this .

I hope all the Dads have had a nice Fathers’ Day and our Eastern friends in lockdown are coping OK, you must all be sick to death of these lockdowns. Too close for comfort when exposure sites are near you, take care everyone.

Yes Judy, we are sick to death of the lockdown. But we will hang in there as we have little choice.   Some people still have to wait for a long time to get a jab.

Chookie I believe the school age kids in Ballarat are now getting bookings earlier than booked . It’s such a waiting game and none of us can get their second booking in till nearer the time ! Unless they are Year 12 then it’s 3 week gap for the P .
Brain fail last night forgot I had yoga and I was meant to be at a Zoom meeting too.
Kitten is being locked up at night , disappeared for to long and with three Tom cats around there is not much hope . Still have a migraine lurking so had a quiet day .

Thanks KAtie.  Take it easy, we are all stressed with this latest lockdown.
Cleaning out Chook house today. SD crumpets for freezer. Potting up lettuce seedlings.
Saw a fox run across the front of the house at 3 pm.

I have my grand-dogs whilst demolition of part of DD’s house is happening, not sure how long they are staying but if longer than this week the kids will collect them for the weekend and bring them back until this messy part of the job is happening.  So we’re back to our normal routine of going for a walk around the marina every morning after breakfast, they sleep for hours after that. Luckily we have nice weather at the moment.

Another lovely day here. It was about 28 degrees I think.
We had a coffee run with one of our car clubs this morning.

Supermarket shopping this morning.  Washed the kitchen curtains and windows this afternoon.
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

I did my grocery shopping this morning too. This afternoon I made a GF lemon slice. One of DD’s co workers has just been diagnosed as coeliac as s feeling down in the dumps. They are having a RUOK morning tea so I made this.
