Clever girls, they both look lovely.

Gretchen your rising in the car reminded  me of a friend (truly, it's not me) who thought her bread had failed so she buried it up the back yard. Later her DH came in and asked her if she knew what the 'thing' coming up in the yard was? Her bread was fine, it had risen up through the loose sand she had covered it with.

Mine isn't bright yellow, but I have noticed it no longer has it's clarity. It seems sort of slightly cloudy.

I've found when I spill curry things on the bench it disappears over time. Not sure if this will happen. I just had a look in Shannon Lush's book but couldn't find anything about curry stains.

I agree with Chelsea. I've often left out the lemon juice in pastry. In fact to be truthful I never use it.
