I am still happy Cookie with my TM31.  Never wanted to update to the 5 but I’m seriously thinking of getting there 6.  I have seen quite a few reviews and like the new features although a couple apparently need some software updates that should happen soon.  I was quite tempted with the special on the TM5 but Wayne felt that I should wait for the 6.  At the moment if you preorder they are giving you $100 off!!

Cookie, I was able to get in over the weekend and after I read your post I just had a look.  I am able to get up a list of ingredients but not the method from the “savory” book!  I did go to an info night last friday and we were told that it shouldn’t be long before it’s all up and running!  Fingers crossed they are right.  I know it’s all OK in Europe!

What do you all think about the TM6?  Is there anyone on here that has one as was told last night it’s been out awhile in Europe!  Can’t wait to hear what you all think.

Heard last night that they are working on Cookidoo series 2.  Apparently then instead of having to go into each country all recipes, books ect will be available from the country you are registered in in your language!  Not sure what I think but should be easier than using Google Chrome!

Just catching up on news!  Sorry to hear about Ral Chookie.  I do hope you get good news when you see the eye specialist and it’s fantastic news about the new drug!

K ATIE, so glad you don’t have shingles but what you do have doesn’t sound good!  Hope the tablets can stop the itch!

Great cooking everyone!  Not much being done here I’m afraid!!  Would have loved a piece of your peach tart Chookie.  What book was the recipe in?

Going to make a zucchini loaf with dried apricots & dates.  It’s a Carole Walter recipe which I found on the net.

Picked the first of the dahlia’s.  The garden has stood up to the heat rather well.  Thankfully!  Even managed to pick 2kgs of rhubarb to make strawberry & rhubarb jam for the first time!

Glad Ral is showing a bit of improvement Chookie,  fingers crossed that everything keeps on the up and up.  I hope his spirit is bright!

Judy, that’s also the trouble here. We have spread!!  I am culling everything and just hope we don’t live to regret it but I suppose once it’s all done it will never have to be done again.

Denise, just been watching the news here re the stockpiling of food over there!  Hopefully it’s just scare tacit’s but you don’t need this uncertainty due to the Brexit deal.

The last couple of days I have been busy making strawberry & rhubarb Jam and dehydrating strawberries.  Went to a strawberry farm Friday and managed to get 16kgs.  $12 for 4kgs which was a good price!

Hi Everyone, hope everyone in Australia had a good long weekend.  Quite here but managed to get some weeding done as it’s just been to darn hot to do before!  With WQayne still on the sick list things not getting done around here as quickly as I would like!

Our eldest daughters son in law & their two daughters are moving in here in a few weeks for 12 months while they build.  Trying to clear out cupboards.  Good excuse for a clean out but not enjoying it!!
