Have been in Melb. most of the day, but as soon as I got home and saw the Quinces a friend had left at the back door, I thought of Thermomixer's Quince Paste. I have made it and it is beautiful. It is the colour of Quince Jelly but with the intense flavor and texture of Paste. THANK YOU THERMOMIXER . I am going to cut it in pieces and vacuum seal it. I took advice and put it in the sink. A very good idea.

Russell , please help me out. What is it I am trying to say? Everyone else who has been on this Forum for a while knows that I am an idiot with the computer, and I need help. Thanks

Russell, another benefit of TMX. I have several bags of breadcrumbs in the freezer, and use them for all sort of things. All from home made bread. Some I make into crumbs and while the machine is running , tip a bit of oil in. These are good for sprinkling on top of savory dishes. White crumbs I keep separate for sweet dishes such as Queen of Puddings. and Xmas pud. Very little goes to waste with the TMX.

Back yesterday from N.E Vic. and have hit the ground running. First I would like to say THANK YOU for all the good wishes. We certainly had a great time. Met some very nice people who live in the region. Have to say that I didn't miss Thermoman while I was away, but then it was only 5 days. Went to Simones at Bright twice and can certainly recommend it. Not food readily converted to TMX. Vegetarian visitors for Dinner, they do eat fish. So have been making JD's seafood crepes, made 30. Added some smoked salmon. Picked some beetroot from garden so will make a salad in TMX, to go with tossed salad from garden. Might make a dressing in TMX with poppy seeds. Xmas Pud to follow, with custard made in TMX. Brandy added !!! Cheese from Millawa. I have been convinced that the Forum had had enough of Chookie and wouldn't let me interact any more. I asked for help and got a message back in Spanish or Portuguese. Did manage to see a post from Russell which suggested that the site was in trouble, not just me, Thanks Russell. I am going to see if Amanda will help me put an Avatar on for me. If successful, it is a drawing that my grand daughter did of me.
