They might be the most expensive Cherry Bites in the history of man but it was definately worth the laugh for me. I actually laughed out loud so much the family asked what on earth I was laughing at.

BTW the fondue forks work well as does using two forks on either side of the balls. I don't usuallly dig the forks into the balls but rather use them to support the balls.

Looking forward to reading more of your adventures Nola.  ;D ;D

Or even olives Fundj.  Yes I think we should call it a chocolate dipping olive picker. :-))  Going to create some more havoc shortly.
Cheers, Nola.

Hoorah and Hooray, I did it today!!  Today I dipped instead of dripped.
My new spiral scooper worked like a trooper, and my new Fondue Pot perfected the lot.

Thanks be to Maddy and all others who offered their great advice.   I am very impressed with the little Chocolate Fondue Pot.  It doesn't have any blades, so it can be licked clean :-))

You have all saved me from a future filled with chocolate hedgehogs and alcohol. ;D

Cheers, Nola.

The chocolate fondue pots are great. We use ours a lot in summer with a huge fruit platter. Makes a great quick and easy dessert which everyone loves.

It's o.ik. Twitterpad, I haven't given up alcohol, just stopped drowning my sorrows ;D

Having sampled one or three of the said Bites, I am thinking, I could eat all the Cherry Bites, buy a punnet on strawberries and plug in the Chocolate Fondue for my guests.  They would probably think I was a hero.  Knowing my luck, I would just burst and spread cheery cherry everywhere :-))
Cheers, Nola.

Persistence does pay  8)

I have 3 fondue pots, 2 for different coloured chocolates when dipping, and 1 for savoury stuff like warm dips.

Oh girls, thank you so much for this thread! Apart from giving me a nice chuckle, you made my life so much easier. Last night I wanted to dip breadsticks in chocolate and sprinkles to send to school class parties today. Last time I did this, it was a bit of a nightmare with the chocolate, but they were so popular one son specifically requested them for today's party.

After reading this thread I remembered that deep in the receses of the cupboard I must have a never-opened fondue set. I have treated this fondue set very poorly because it was given to me as a gift for Christmas by my brother-in-law 8 years ago, when I had specifically asked him for a set of ramekins, and had detailed exactly what I was after. Needless to say I was a bit miffed and contemplated selling the fondue set on ebay, but never got around to it.

All is now forgiven! Last night, I melted my chocolate in the microwave, poured it into the fondue set and happily dipped away for the next hour or so (there were a lot of breadsticks!).
