This does sound so easy and tasty. Thanks DJ. We don't have sweets very often but I could be easily tempted by this.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Decided this is a  *: recipe after all. Having made it, make the custard in the  *:.
 I made the second one and would use cornflour next time.
