I made these using the recipe on the machine, which of course is the same as in the book. I thought they may be a little plain so added some lemon zest to them. I haven't had one but we have just had visitors and there is only a few left. I have concluded that they are very nice. DH said they were pretty good.

They look great Cookie! How much lemon zest did you add please? I'd like to make something similar.
-
The zest of one lemon. Family told me it was quite subtle.

Thanks cookie. I will start with that, and add extra to taste if necessary. I love lemon and have a bumper crop in the backyard at the moment.

These were delicious and so incredibly easy with the recipe chip! I rolled them in a mixture of raw caster, orange zest and cinnamon.
The second batch I made using a GF flour blend that I made - Quinoa, Buckwheat, a little potato starch and Sorghum flour and they were also yummy. I added ground ginger to the GF ones.
I cooked a bit longer than 20 minutes because I like crunchy biscuits.
