Oh what would I do on a Sat afternoon without this forum - probably not be laughing at the computer in the study which is near the entry and the front door is unlocked as well as the study window being opened so that it is obvious to the visitor (who is at the front door), that I am home ALONE - luckily they are not dressed in a white coat - this time anyrate.

I hope you get your TM real soon. You wont be able to talk your self out of it now. You have the TM bug and the only cure is actually buying one.

Well leesmac78, I convinced myself by deciding that I would no longer need all the other gadgets that Thermomix can cover. i sold them on Ebay along with my Thermo 21. It freed up my kitchen surfaces no end and the cost of the Thermomix didn't hurt quite so much. You say you have lots of gadgets so tell DH that you are not so much buying one but really exchanging your old stuff for one.

Six days until the demo.... I hope delivery wont take too long! Been talking about it non stop and DH hasn't said no. He is now unable to attend the demo with me. What a shame, I will just have to go alone, with my wallet in hand and a desperate yet excited look in my eye.....

I love reading how everyone managed to get a TM! I convinced mine by playing with his hate of cooking and giving him an ultimatum... I get a TM or he has to take over the reigns of cooking dinner every night! But I have helped numerous other friends convince their other half of the benefits...going to a demo seals the deal
