We had Minestrone Soup https://tenina.com/recipes/minestrone-soup
I had mine with a buttered bagel, DD had hers with Naan bread and DH had SD. It was very nice. I couldn’t be bothered making any pasta to go in it so I used some brown rice.

We are having roast Chicken and Roast Pork for lunch and Dinner,  with roast pumpkin, mashed potato, mixed green veggies , Cauli cheese,  apple sauce and gravy followed by Sticky Date Pud and / or Portuguese tarts. I have made scones , Almond Crackle Biscuits and Vanilla Ice Cream. Indian patties for GD. This may sound a lot but they are the favourites for everyone.   Family can take leftover home.

Toasted sandwiches as DS had invited us out for a bbq lunch.

Tonight will be a fish pie if I get home in time to make it.

All sounds nice.
Left over cold chicken. Might make into a chicken and mushroom pie.
