I am not surprised Judy. Most doctors surgeries are the pits and there is always one in the practise that is a cheapskate.

I never touch the mags and ever sit in an armed chair. Can you imagine the germs on the kiddies toys!!!

I had your thoughts of magazines in mind whilst sitting there Gert and I did eventually read one towards the end of my stay.  There was a bottle of hand sanitiser at reception though so I immediaely headed for that once I put the magazine back.

I often wait in the car and ask them to ring me, if there is a long wait. Some times I have been told there is a long wait and would I like to go get a cup of coffee. Half way through the coffee they ring. ,!
I carry the sanitiser in my hand bag.

Two lovely ladies, thanks for posting the photo.  Glad you are busy Djinni.
I know how you felt Judy, my DD used to see a neurologist who always made us wait hours ( she treated people bad when you got in as well).  We found someone who cared and moved on.

Last time I went to the GP I noticed an elderly couple bring in some magazines. They said they save theirs and bring them every time they come. So lovely.

We came into Albany this morning. So cool. I think it may even rain tonight. We went up to see the new National Anzac Centre. It was closing in an hour so we didn't actually get to go in. It looks lovely.
Not sure where we are going tomorrow. DH is selecting it so it will be a surprise.

That's a lovely photo cookie. Enjoy your surprise tomorrow.

The 2 male neurologists that Geoff had were great Denise, we very rarely had to wait long and we always had a laugh.  I can't imagine having a bad one, what a rotten experience for DD.

The first neurologist I saw kept us waiting on average and hour and half every visit and wasn't a very friendly either I wonder if our neurologist went to the same be rude to patients school Denise.  My new one is lovely and bulk bills me every visit. Double bonus.
I child-proofed my house, but they still get in!

Speakig of waiting rooms...I'm having a gestational diabetes test at the moment...I have to be here for 2.5hrs! Not allowed to leave in case I have a reaction or something! Luckily I have my iPad and the forum, facebook and Kobo here to keep me company!

I take my iPad when I have a check for normal diabetes Jamberie, they won't even let me wander around the shops for a couple of hours in that area which would kill time very quickly.  It's the one test I hate having because of the time factor.  Good luck with yours.
