I slept in this morning. Did the washing and ironing and a bit of cooking.

I had the curtain people here again to remeasure for curtains in the lounge.  Their first quote was so vague that I asked them to come and measure again.  Unfortunately they are the only business in town so I was limited for choice.  It will be 6 - 8 weeks before the curtains arrive.

It’s not easy to get a good price when there’s no competition in town Margaret, I hope you’re happy with your quote.
I’ve mowed a friend’s verge and did new inventories for the stand alone freezer and the fridge/freezer, had a bit of a throw out there.

We had a visit from my brother this morning.  Even tho we live in the same town I haven't seen him for months.  He and his wife are much more social than DH & I and it was good to catch up.

How nice for you Margaret.
I’ve been to gym then cashed in 2 huge bags of crushed pep bottles. Since my specialist recommended that I drink sparkling water these bags soon fill up and I give the money to my grandchildren. $30 each coming their way when next I go to see them which is this weekend hopefully.
Chookie I go to Costco for my slabs of sparkling water and petrol at least once a month. This time I bought a few things for my SIL’s birthday, I never know what to get her but there are so many choices at Costco to make it easy for me and everything is top quality. I think she’ll be happy with my choices, the tin of biscuits is huge!

The Danish biscuits are quite tasty Judy. That is a large tin.
I did my grocery shopping this morning. Late this afternoon is the dentist.

Lucky SIL, Judy.
Hair dresser today. Then lunch at Yacht Club Restaurant on the lake in Ballarat.
I am on a project to clean out 1 drawer a day. There are 52 drawers in the kitchen . I am including the freezer drawers in my project.
Found I had lots of dried Apricots so made Apricot jam in the TMX while cleaning out drawer.

They will be lovely filled with home baked goodies Chookie. I’m sure you’ll put them to good use.
