Thanks everyone for the very kind wishes, we are getting through all the arrangements with the service tomorrow. Will be a big day today, need to cook for the wake as well as get photos off Mum and Dad and make a small booklet for the service as well as trying to fit some work in ( thankfully I have very understanding bosses). You would think that with 8 children the work would be able to be shared but it appears there are more than half who totally incapable of helping out!!

Cookie and Astraea, hope all has gone well and you are able to rest up for a few days.

Well we have had rain and lots of it, and when it's not raining it's a frost, and when it's not a frost its bitterly cold and windy. There is some snow about on the mountains in some places. But we do have a cosy wood heater to keep us warm :)

Wonder it always seem to fall to the same people in the family to do things. I know how you feel. Take care tomorrow.

Astarra, simply sending you hugs. Lots of them.

Hally I had another skin cancer taken off my leg yesterday. No big deal, I 've had heaps removed. Another scar to add to the collection. Nothing compared to astarra and Wonder. :-* :-*

I have the 2 grand-children here today so when they have a quiet moment I try and get back onto the forum to keep abreast of what is happening.  Those moments are bliss!

School holidays here. Cleaning and washing. About to make a vanilla cake with Passionfruit frosting to take to a neighbors for afternoon tea.

Ironing finished. Then about to make some Limoncello biscuits for car club tomorrow. Perhaps then I'll sit and read for a while. I have book club tonight and I haven't finished the book. I started it too late.
