If I am ever given fresh eggs I never put them in the fridge and use them straight away but I don't think I would keep eggs out of the fridge up here at 29 degrees. I would love never to put tomatoes in the fridge either....and butter.....or store bought bread.......or

Well that is life in the tropis.

I've always been told that eggs being fresh 'living' things should be chilled or refrigerated. I always keep mine in the fridge.

I ordered one of these today for the new unit.  I couldn't justify the cost of a second Thermie. Hopefully it will be better than some other copies.

Sorry Den, had to delete the link as it contravenes Rule 5.4.

I thought about buying one for the holiday house too DD, but in the end just got the TM carry bag. Will be interesting to hear how you go with it.

I thought about the carry bag Jamberie but DW didn't want to carry lots of stuff up and down all the time.

Cookie I will report on how good or otherwise it is after I use it for a while.  ???

Yes, anything to avoid lugging more things to and from...I do intend to leave my old EDC and a few spatulas at the coast, that way if 4G is down (often is at peak times) I still have a range of to use.

We have only ever left our eggs in the cupboard and after DD suffereing a very bad case of salmonella from free range eggs never wash them as that makes the shell porous and any bacteria on the shell can then get into the egg.
