Love them. They will be very popular.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

I found a small silicon loaf tin to fit in the varoma. $6. Now I can retire the aluminum drip tray from the BBQ.

Took my varoma to a homeware store just now. They sell relatively cheap pots, plates, kitchen gadgets etc.

Bought a few stainless steel plates, a little pot and a stand to raise the plate (in order not to block the vents). Measured the items to make sure they fit into the varoma.

Planning to steam vege, meat etc on the plates and pot. Easier to clean then the varoma itself :)

BZB - brilliant idea!!  Thank you!  might just do the same today - steam fish vegetables, etc quite a lot - and you're right - the varoma is not the easiest thing to get clean . . ;D

Goldfish and MF, some Chinese dishes are steamed e.g fish. The condensed liquid from the steaming actually forms the sauce for the dish. One simple steamed fish is to just drizzle the fish with soya sauce and shredded ginger. When the fish is done, you can dress it up further with garlic oil and a tiny bit of sugar.

Goldfish and MF, this technique is very versatile. But for you to use fish that is not so fresh, the soya sauce dressing might be too "light" Soya sauce and minimal seasoning will help fresh fish shine - the natural sweetness without the fishy smell.

If you are planning to use not so fresh fish, you can drizzle other types of sauces. For me, I would use sambal pastes. But I think other sauces would work too, depending on what you like :)

I spray mine with olive oil before adding meat, fish or chicken but don't bother for vegies GF - it certainly helps with the cleaning of it.
