Feeling very pleased with myself as one of my favourite clothes shops had 30% off their sale stock today. I needed a dressy dress, and got a lot more besides. I even managed to buy a pair of boots too. It was one of those rare days when you can find everything you need :)

I have a barrel dyson animal pro and love it.. You just have to respect the manufacturers guidelines ie no turbo head on hard floors and no plaster dust etc.. It will work like a dream...Love mine.. Never had a dyson upright so dont know for that

I love my Dyson animal vaccuum too, although I bought mine so I could pick up those annoying sewing threads that kept getting caught in the carpet.  Was amazed at just how much dirt I got after using it for the first time. :o
The  man who said it can't be done should not interupt the woman doing it.

Margaret Fulton's slow cooker book... It's great as she doesn't use hundreds of ingredients and I have most of them in my cupboard or freezer.
I also went to Aldi and bought these ravioli cutters. If you don't already have one (hahaha) they have a pizza maker this week too :D:D:D

Hope the wait isn't too long. I love Aldi,  Costco is fun once in a while but I'm waiting for Ikea... I think I'll be waiting a loooooong time for that one!

I'm not sure but I think they were quite a bit cheaper at The Good Guys.

Jamberie you obviously don't have an Ikea. We have one but it is north of the river, but not too far if you want to go there or meet Jeninwa for a coffee.  ;)

Thanks so much everyone for the info on the Dyson vacuum. The plotting of the death of my current vacuum cleaner is imminent... I've even sent a letter to its manufacturer listing all the reasons I regret buying it! (And to think I tossed up between buying it and the Dyson - BIG mistake!) I do like my machines to be well designed and work without hassle - wish all of them were like my Timmy really!

I stood out the front of a House kitchen store with up to 70% off signs everywhere and I didn't even go in. It took great self control.  :D
