Wonder, did that shop by any chance have one with white on the outside?
What I was really wanting was like this

Curves upwards at the edges, and was quite large and flattish.
I'm kicking myself I didn't grab one here locally, but it was the last and there was a big chip on the white outside of the bowl.
sales lady was going to see if she could get another, but was a bit of cow about later on, telling me that they can't afford to just buy in another....and then wouldn't tell me the brand  :-)) she then said I couldn't have it discounted, as she just sold it.

Judy I love your new saying on your posts.

Thanks Cookie, I thought I'd start the new year with an updated photo (not that you can see much) and a new saying - waded through so many before this one stood out.

that is a great saying JD, and I can relate to it because I was cooking some biscuits today and the phone rang at the same time as the buzzer. Looked at the biccies whilst talking and thought "another couple of minutes", and then I walked outside to carry on the phone conversation. About 10 minutes later I finished the call. Fortunately I didn't set the oven up so high, and my DH's brother popped around and declared they are better cos they are "a bit more crunchy". Think my MIL must have got away with serving up anything cos those boys are just not fussy in the least.

Love your chopping board Yvette, the curves and grain are beautiful.

Maybe they don't get much home cooked food these days CP so just appreciate anything that comes out of a home oven.  Glad the biscuits weren't spoilt - you were lucky though  ;)

Spent some of birthday money on these.

My indoor shoes.
Old pair is 5 yrs old and I need them at work and kept forgetting to take  them. Now left in car and new ones at home.

They are so great to wear and help my back to stay strong.
