Maddy, I may have missed you giving feedback about your friend's reaction to the cake...how did it go?

Yes please Maddy. What was her reaction?

I went shopping for DH's birthday this morning. I bought him a new GPS for the car, some shirts to wreck at car club, and a pizza thing as he is the pizza cook.

here's the drama I had with the cake here   http://www.forumthermomix.com/index.php?topic=320.msg168777#msg168777
Once we got there, she looked at it, paused, and said "wow, that's a lot of flowers"...then she was staring at it, and I knew she counting the candles....as I left off 4 of the even uglier ones she gave me!  ;D  I knew it would annoy her that her candle count was only 36....too bad  :D  it was done, and never again I might add.

I agree with Michelle, you should have put more candles on, not less!

Well done though Maddy for being the bigger person & making the cake for your ungrateful "friend" and well done also for deciding never again!

Well as you all may have read on Bec's welcome thread we have bought a house :) 4x2 with a back yard woohoo! Double the block size we are currently on with 5 bantam chooks that come with the house. Very exciting  ;D settlement is August 3rd. Sad to leave my renovated kitchen with induction cooktop but happy to be moving to a house with two toilets lol
