Oh they are so gorgeous!

Not moving any time soon, but unsubscribing from this thread!!
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Today my OH bought 2 x 2 metre DVD racks from Ikea. We have almost finished putting them together, surprisingly there has been no swearing what so ever!

Good to hear they are going together easily Katie - it takes me hours to assemble their gear.

Uni, you don't look very happy with the new TV purchase ???

That's 3 more than me Uni. My DW keeps talking about wanting o replace the TV in the bedroom because it take too long for the picture to come through when you change channels ans she is a hopeless channel surfer.

That's the only problem with these HD TV's - waiting for the channel to change.  Why is it so?

Don't know but it seems that way across most brands, some worse than others.  (Toshiba one in the kitchen takes agesssss)  :-\

I think it's because more information comes across now. Obviously the picture's better, but you also get tv show information like the name & synopsis and te tv guide as well. I'm just assuming though.

I finally bought myself & DS a new pair of runners today. My old ones were in dire need of replacing and given that I now walk everywhere I think I deserved some decent runners.

I'm feeling left behind, only two tv's in our house and one is used exclusively or the Xbox, I just don't get time for tv watching anymore.
