New car seat for my little man, he has nearly outgrown his capsule.   This seat is the first one I've found that goes from newborn to 8 years old.  So hopefully will last the distance.

It was $328 in the Big W sale catalogue this week.  It is called the Infa-secure Meteor newborn to 8 years child restraint

http://www.bigw.com.au/baby/carseats/convertible-seats/bpnBIGW_0000000304046/infa-secure-meteor-newborn-to-8-years-child-restraint

The Infa Secure website has the info but they call it a different name.

The big W seat has different fabric but a good price.

I've been happy with this brand of seat, I have one for by daughter (21 months) and have found it good.

I think this is a good idea to go from newborn upwards, otherwise you are constantly buying new child restraint seats.  It is very confusing with the new laws as to what seat they should be in, this makes it failsafe and although a bit more expensive than other seats, it will last through all the stages.

Great seat for Grandparents  :)

Your local motoring association (NRMA, RACV, RACQ etc) have brochures n the safest child restraints and also information on the current laws. Have a look at their websites.

Just been to the local meat wholesaler and stocked up.  Was impressed with how much I got for $100 (do you think this is good??).  I've bagged it up and into the freezer.  The dogs are enjoying their bones, will keep them busy all weekend.
2 x chorizo sausages
375gm smoked spek
1kg of natural sausages
1kg rissoles
1.3kg pork spare ribs
1.8kg chicken breast fillets skin off
1.5kg corned silverside
2.1kg premium mince
2 kg gravy beef
dozen free range eggs
2 x massive marrow bones for the dogs.

Just been out and bought this bedroom suite for DH's room - our current one was purchased when we got married and as it is our Silver Wedding anniversary on 1st August I thought it time it was replaced. His will be a chocolate colour with 3 tallboys instead of a dressing table (it didn't come with a dressing table as a lot don't these days).

Lovely Judy. Your old bed has done well to last 25 years.

I hate looking at bedroom furniture, because then I want to repaint the room and buy all the accessories so it looks like it does in the picture  ;D

Judy that is lovely, it will brighten things up.

DD is right Uni.  Quit the swinging from it.

How lovely. Such a nice treat after so many years And well deserved. DH will probably be tossing stuff out as he transfers stuff to the new tall boys.

Good on you JD.
