does anyone cook lettuce??

I have an abundance of lettuce at the moment and it is wilting wilting wilting, I don't want to pitch it, does anyone cook it or steam it??  having bbq'd chops and varoma steamed asparagus and bok choy, wondering about adding lettuce...

I am sure I have heard of lettuce soup somewhere, have you tried googling anything?  There might be some sort of cold lettuce soup as opposed to a hot one as well.  How does lettuce go in smoothies?

There's a recipe in the Indian Cookbook for Lettuce soup I can send the recipe if you want it Curly?I'm going out shortly but could send it later to you ;) :)

it's homegrown and curly!!  LOL (sorry just got the irony of that) and I also have cos...... didn't want to make a soup, was hoping someone had steamed with bok choy or cabbage or something....  sorry, sidetracked, the frilly one...

I would absolutely appreciate the lettuce soup recipe for the next week or so, I was just wondering about tonight....gee short notice on request, terribly sorry...lol
I didn't think they would all grow to picking stage at the same time because I planted them separately for that reason!!

If chinese food can stir fry and it can be grilled then I guess over the next week or so I'll add to my this and that recipes and let others know of how successful it is..

I have sort of steam/stir fry with garlic and soy sauce. Not wonderful but not bad either.

Green smoothies? I quite often use cos lettuce and it's pretty  good
