Chit Chat / Re: What are you cooking today?
« on: September 05, 2009, 03:02:15 am »
Did you follow that recipe to a T JulieO?  Mine looked good when they came out of the oven but went all flat and soft very quickly, not like my sister-in-law's whose stay firm for days (not using the TMX recipe).  There has been some discussion on the puff recipe, maybe you followed some of the advice there.  Just love your photos BTW.

Non Food Recipes / Re: Bron's Dishwasher Liquid Soap - with Spanish video

I've been having mixed success with this one.  I have been having to rinse things before putting in the dishwasher (I keep a bucket of water in the sink for that process) but it worries me with all that salt, especially on good crystal etc because isn't salt a cutting compound? I only use it perhaps once in every 3 times these days, depending on what is in the dishwasher.

What a great idea :-* :-* Easier to fit into spaces in the freezer & make smaller portions too.  Love it, now why didn't I think of that myself. Talk about brain freeze, I get it without even eating sorbet  ;D ;D ;D ;D

Do you mean you haven't got time to spend browsing the aisles of the supermarket Thermomixer - well I never :o :o :o  Put it on your list of 'things to do when I retire list'. I'd also like to spend 1/2 day wandering around food shops just looking, looking but life is all rush, rush these days for us all.

Chit Chat / Re: What improvements would you like to see in the next model?
« on: September 05, 2009, 02:11:20 am »
I would love to see the new brush included from the beginning.
I'm quite happy with mine, beeping noise and all but yes, I agree with the above - cleaning aids should be included with the TMX.  With the beep, if it turns off I could quite easily forget about it like I do the washing machine - even though cooking is far more exciting than hanging out washing  :-)) :-)) :-))

Mum & Dad used to have a glut of tomatoes (even after they supplied their family and neighbours with plenty) so they used to just freeze the whole tomato (the Romas) for later.  Quite suitable for cooking up sauces etc.

Hi and welcome to the forum Alycia. Sounds like you are already having fun with your TMX and are confident enough to do your training and get it out there for everyone to see.  Good luck, nice to have you on board.

People hate to see orphans Cookie1 so I'm sure they will adopt you - besides that, if they are new to the game, look at how much you can teach them ;) ;) ;)
