We bought a new kettle yesterday. The old one blew the safety switch whilst I was using the washing machine, microwave, range hood, oven, computer, tv and thermomix all at the same time. Oops

DD bought us a new kettle for our wedding anniversary a couple of months ago. She bought us a Kitchen Aid one. It's lovely. Bright red too.

Kimmy no wonder the safety switch clicked.

After our last kettle stopped working I bought a cheapie Kmart one for around $40. It has all these blue lights which light up and a glass bowl. People are always fascinated by the lights and ask about the brand... thinking it must be very expensive. Lol!

My SIL has one of those and it is gorgeous.

My shirts arrived this morning.  The white one is gorgeous and fits/feels so lovely.  Exactly what I was after. 

The taupe/white one is lovely too (for the right person) but it's not for me.  Fits fine across the bust but the waist and hips are too baggy and it hangs down further on me than on the model (which isn't a good look on me).  So will send that one back which is no hassle.

I used to iron blouses like that for DD Julie, it was so time consuming.

I hadn't thought about the ironing of it Judy.     With all the little studs and loops and creases it would have been a nightmare to get right    Dodged one there

I'm a bit like you Judy with the ironing. Before DD had to wear uniform she used to wear Cue shirts to work and some of them were ghastly to iron. I used to leave those for her to do!

I went into House this morning and overheard two ladies speaking about things to seal open bags. When they left I asked the assistant what they had bought. She showed me and I liked them so much I bought myself a packet. $12.99. They are very easy to use. They are called Anylock and the packet contains various sizes. I've put one on the Spelt flour packet.
