Happy juicing Marina.  It looks and sounds like a great machine - I tried to watch some of the videos but only the audio came through.

apple, carrot, celery with a bit of ginger, was always the most popular when I used to sell juices.

pineapple, orange juice, mixed with coconut ice cream( in a blender) = pina colda without the alcohol..

Jeninwa, i would be interested to hear why you have decided on juicing over smoothies and if you think it makes a difference to your overall health. Probably a stupid questin, but can you juice nuts and seeds?

This is an answer I am interested in as well.  I believe my juicer can grind nuts and seeds, but not sure you are meant to include them in your juice. Thanks for asking, Wonder.

I've just bought a Uashmama bag to store my homemade bread in. I thought I should invest in something fairly good considering I only ever eat homemade bread nowadays. I got it in black in the large size from a company called Hard to Find.  http://www.objettrouve.com.au/catalogue.aspx

Brumington, I love those bags and very tempted to buy some. The heated bread plate also looks great.

Wonder,  I juice to increase my vegetable intake, i find it easier to digest and it gives me a quick energy boost. I could never drink enough smoothie to get the same amount of vitamins and minerals per glass as I do in a juice. I also don't think carrots and beet root taste that good in a smoothie. I do have a smoothie occasionally but it's mainly a fruit one

That's interesting Jeninwa, I've only ever made smoothies and include all my nuts and seeds as well as the kale plus fruit so I'm pretty sure I'm getting my daily allowances. I already go through so much fruit and vegtables for smoothies I can't imagine having to purchase even more!!

For the kids:

It has kept DS out of my hair most of the afternoon, so money well spent.  And I even managed to put it together all by myself!

And I've ordered a tortilla press for my Xmas present (I will actually save it for Xmas, and I always shop for myself...or I'd probably get nothing)

Good wholesome fun for your DS, Jo :)

Got another delivery just now. Almost felt like my birthday ;D

The recipe format looks very useful. It has a table with speed, time, temp and even MC on/off.

Looking forward to you trying some of those Malaysian recipes BZB, the book is listed in the review section but there aren't many reviews as yet.  Hopefully you"ll add some more we can link to that list.
