We're getting 2 new cars too.  Well, one ute (charcoal grey) and one 7-seater (slightly blue silver).   8)

Was hoping they'd be here by now, but still waiting....

We usually have white cars as they are easier to see out on the open road. We bought a burgundy Nissan Patrol but gosh it shows the dirt and it is hard to see on the road in certain lights. Hence the Hilux is white. I wanted red but we had to wait 6 months and I didn't want to be down one car for that long. The old car is on a concessional license and can only be driven under certain rules, so not down to the shops.  :-\

Dh recently got his new car.. Hyundai Santa Fe highlander...in Arabian mocca as we love black but thought in oz too hot and didn't want another silver car and white I'm not a big fan so got that colour and we love it.. It's a dark gold type brown .. Not my first choice of colour but we really liked it when we saw it in the showroom.. Has 7 seats which is what we were after and a sunroof that opens the length of the car plus a hundred other options..

Kim :) ... Back in the land of Oz

We always have silver or white cars too. Had a black Honda prelude years ago and it was worse than white for showing the dirt. Silver is my choice as  you have to look really closely to notice the dirt. We have 2 silver cars at the moment and a white 7 seater  4 wheel drive to accommodate the kids .

We always try to go for white cars, too.
I think that black absorbs waaaay too much heat in the summer.  The silver/gray ones worry me too.  The light silver ones are often hard to see against the lighter bitumen of the roads and the darker ones blend with wet bitumen.
White just stands out.

Kim that color looks really nice, I too like driving a white car and it doesn't show the dirt too much.

I have never thought too much about colour and safety - I always get red because it's my favourite colour and the car looks like it's going fast even when it's parked.

we are registering it Tuesday next week, just got restored, and did roadworthy yesterday.

Can't find another in Aussie, in original condition and restored at all.

Plenty of wrecked hotted up ones. :)
