Thanks Uni, that is so easy to make.  Must buy myself a bulk batch of vanilla beans and start this process.

The 750ml jar looks to be the better deal.  I know it's a $100 but you are getting double the strength, ie only need to use 1/2 tsp compared with 1 tsp for the smaller 400/100ml jars.

I'm tossing up whether to get one myself as I'm sure it would last quite a while.

JulieO, i bught the larger one for 2 reasons:-

I seem to run out all the time with the tiny $10 pots from C.
Also seemed good value as only need 1/2tsp.

I love to use this in everything now. The taste is well worth it. We had an apple and custard pizza last night and I used this in the custard. Yum.

Now Cookie, why did you have to do that.  Went to Amazon to see if I could see inside and found it's also a Kindle book, so have downloaded it to my iPad for $10.  You are right, some nice looking recipes in there.  The one that has caught my eye right now while I'm hungry is the King Prawn & Prosciutto.  Can see that one happening in the next few days.

Omg Theo did a private workshop at a shared holiday house and I was lucky enough to be there . His pizzas are to die for!! Especially the sweet ones....yum yum, Plus he is a really lovely guy and his book is great enjoy!
