Can you update on the electric pasta machine from Aldi, I was seriously contemplating it BUT the few things I have bought there have been sub standard, unfortunately :(. Would love to know how this machine goes:).

Used the pasta machine today. I have never made pasta before. Did some fettuccine. I had trouble with spaghetti.
That was me nothing to do with the machine. It worked fine but I have nothing to compare it with. Longevity will be the key.
See how much I use it and whether it stands up to the wear.

If your not happy, you have 60 days satisfaction guarantee I think, then the warranty of course.
Interested to hear your update Mcmich......certainly would be easier having both hands free for the rolling/ cutting.

......which I must confess to another purchase that turned up today  :P

I know I bought a manual pasta machine a couple of weeks ago, but I thought this would be easier for rolling the dough out with the KA, with both hands.
.....unfortunately my big flaw is buying before thinking  :P the other will get used though  :)

.........EAT CAKE!

2 perennial wallflowers, a small creeping geranium, something tall and self supporting border plant, a new one to me and 2 of tall, grey leaves with bright pink flowers. Sorry names out side me inside!

Got to get back better so can carryon planting.
I am making a garden from scratch, it is slow going.

Hoping to take cuttings this autumn and double the plants I bought.

The sports type bags I got from amazon are much smaller than expected which is annoying.

Gert

The spaghetti tended to stick together and I had trouble catching it as it was coming out of the rollers.
Maybe I rolled the sheet too thin? I'll give it another go but want to try ravioli.
