No it doesn't . I have one on both shelves of the dishwasher. Haven't changed them in years. No bits at all.

Try it.

I will try it Gretch, but I know that I would be able to top a pizza if I shook it after a week

Maddy where do you find all those amazing magazines?  I love home/interior mags but have never come across some of those.

This is the stainless steel scouring pad that Gretchen said could be placed in the dishwasher - you could use the stainless steel bar but this is the cheaper option.

Not steel wool Kim, that will rust.

Thx jd and i know its not correct but hats what i call steel wool lol...will try that out as i have not seen stainless steel soap bars...

:D :D :D :D Maddy, can you believe I saw your picture and didn't even see that gorgeous dog until I looked at it a second time to see why you didn't need to rinse the dishes.

Maddy, that is too funny,  We have two labs and given half a chance they would be in as well.

After buying 2 new cookbooks,I just popped back to the shops.

Ended up in DJ's, was promptly helped by a lovely sales woman & walked out with a new slow cooker,  :DLOL

Breville. 5.5 litre. The base of the dish can be used on the stove top for browning. Fantastic, so no need to use another pot.

Very good Hally. I told DH about the new fast slow cooker but he said we already have a 7 litre slow cooker and a thermie. Don't need anything else. God love him LOL
