 :) Gretchen,
Vintage is older but  a wiser model.

I am vintage, especially when the kids remind me i am older than the other Mums.

1975 vintage, oops something wrong with me then. But on second thoughts our old cars are 1930 models and everyone loves them so perhaps we aren't so bad Gretchen. :D :D

I bought a circulon muffin pan today, absolutely non stick (quite expensive) and when I got it home
the reverse side of the sticky cardboard said not to use spray oil as it ruins the non stick surface
(which is what I purchased it for). Have any of you had this brand and do you need to grease it?
I know I could brush on oil or melted butter although thought this would make life easier.

I bought a circulon baking tray in December. I use it to cook my bread rolls on, and I haven't had to use any greasing agent on it yet, and so far, nothing has stuck. It's fabulous so far. I know that this is unusual for non stick!
However, muffins tend to be stickier. I think that it's the aerosol in the sprays that cause the problems with non stick surfaces.  I would go back to the old fashioned method of a pastry brush and melted butter, or the cake release that has been posted on this forum. Good luck!

Unfortunately the sprays are a no-no for non stick bakeware, as well as non stick pans.....I have ruined a few before I realised this  :(
Butter, or try fundj's cake release recipe.

Well finally the problem with my dishwasher has been found, a burnt out wash motor and a $380 repair bill, I now have to go collect the quote (which I have to pay $77 to receive) and send to the insurance company. Be glad to get it fixed (or replaced) and returned. Although washing up by hand is not so bad. There is definitely a lot less washing up with the TM,

I have a scanpan Stove top grill, no spray oil to be used, it takes the coating off.

It washes up a treat, just wipe over with a damp cloth, easy.

6 cars, glad I don't have to license them or insure them. WE have 3 licensed and on the road plus one that is only a chassis on wheels and another that is  about ½ restored. Not counting DD's car. In the shed we have the boat and van. With the vintage cars though we get reduced license and insurance though as they aren't on the road very much.

The new car sounds lovely.

Dede hope you are soon re united with your going dishwasher.

I bought some maca powder from a health shop just off Rundle Mall. I resisted a cake pan that makes small cakes that look like ice cream wafers. 😊 but I did buy an expensive leather bag. 😉

Thanks Maddy and Hally, The brush and oil worked fine and was easy to clean afterwards.
