For me it will all come down to price and features....I've had my thermomix for 4 1/2 years so I feel I've gotten good value out of it and can justify another one since it gets used three or four times a day at least....but unless it is a reasonable price and has features I need there are a couple of others that are very attractive as well.

Same here Stacelee. It is all about the value for money. However. I do love a new gadget! LOL!

Well the first photo confirms the big invite to the party at Paris Disneyland and the dates so  5th and 6th . Just four days to go or maybe 5 and who knows what! Fun.

Even DD is getting excited, not about the thermomix though. Robbie Williams is coming to Perth very soon and she is going.  ;D

Although I love my current thermi I would have no problem purchasing a new update model. I accidently burnt the bottom of mine when a hot plate turned on under it, it still works perfectly fine. I figured since I bought mine 2yrs ago, given it a hiding in that time, I could quite happily update without feeling guilty.

Like others, I'm not sure I'll upgrade,  it will depend on the new features.  However, I am preparing my justification...just in case.
I've had my TMX for 2 years and 1 month. So in that time it has cost approximately $2.55 per day or about $18.50 per week. I know I have saved at least $18.50 per week by having the TMX, not to mention the hobby/enjoyment factor. If I got a new one, after 2 years it would essentially be free :D yes, FREE ;) and then if I wanted to sell the old one, I'd make money :)

I'm going to work mine out Astarra. I hadn't thought of it that way.  :)
