CC would you expect any less from the Thermo Junkie Cult? ;D :D :-))

......and suffer from the thermomix virus. I think mine is curiosity at the moment, and why all the secrecy?

You guys are obviously current TM champions whereas I'm hanging out for this new model as an entry into the TM world.

Some bits and pieces I've seen on the HMP that would be awesome on the new TM model would be:
- Single degree heating instead of blocks of 10
- Hotter maximum temperature (ability to brown foods etc)
- Being able to use/upload predetermined recipes (not sure how helpful this would actually be but seems like a cool idea)
- Wait feature (cook a certain recipe at a certain degree, when it's done let it cool to a lower temperature and keep it warm at that temp. Once again, not sure how useful this is because I hear the thermo servers keep food really warm... but once again would be nice).

Also if we want to hear of a crazy idea, the ability to go cold cold cold and do ice creams. One of the HMP models does it but its like 4-5k so I doubt anyone would fork out DOUBLE the cost just to do cold, but if it was only 10-25% extra, I'd consider it :)

Keep the rumours/gossip flowing I say !

I agree - it would be great to have the extreme temperatures of hot and cold *thumbs up*

I think two of  Fenix. Ideas are a certainty.

Vorwerk is a notoriously  secretive conservative privately owned company who have been quietly obtaining patents for the new TMX for some time. And no doubt Grace is keeping a good eye on us as well as MM.  The German, French, Malaysians and even the Irish are having something to say. Buzz buzz buzz.

No not withholding just doing some googling and translating some forums  and such like. More gossip. More rumours . More speculating. You can be absolutely  positive that Vorwerk has managed to silence a few  who would normally be posting some Info. Some are afraid to go into print. Some in denial . Some are phoning around. Some talking in code even LOL!

And some are working on their new orders!!!  Branch managers, group leaders gearing up, shedding excess ringing around. It' small happening.

But it could all be a furphy and Vorwerk are bringing out a new vacuum cleaner!

Any bets?

It is amazing that no one has spilled the beans. I too have been googling and translating.  All very exciting.

Mm mum I think I would like a red one. Perhaps with a royal blue varoma. I would also like one that turned the noise off itself after beeping for a certain time.

Someone must know something, this would have to be the best kept secret out there!

Maybe everyone in the know has been threatened with "we'll stuff you in a sound proof room full of 1000 thermies and the final beeping is all you will hear, no-one will hear your screams..... ha ha ha ha haaaaaa"  :o

Who is gonna spill the beans now!  ;D

As I see it, all this curiosity and rumours about a new thermomix coming out is all good FREE publicity for vorwerk. It's like a soap opera and everyone is waiting to see who done it lol. I was going to buy a second thermy early on in the year but when the rumours started I decided to wait. As someone else said, we are all thermy addicts. I can't wait to see what the new baby looks like ha ha and hearing all the rumours there must be a new one coming.

I'm sure everyone involved from the top right down to the consultants have to sign NDA's so it's understandable things are tight lipped. Imagine how many people work on the latest Iphone and they generally only get leaked at the very last minute and there's probably thousands of people involved in R&D / production.

When's the supposed date that we'll hear something official? I know it's sometime in September but not sure.

I am thinking about another machine, but it would have to be really good to beat what I have now. :)
My Thermomix,  Kitchen Aid, Pizza oven, Nu Wave 5 in 1, Spatulas, all brings love, laughter, happiness, and great food  to my kitchen.
