Just goes to show you how desirable they are and hold their value. If they were cheaper. I am sure many Bellini owners would be interested in trading up.

If you read down the page of this patent link, it talks about a lift up lid. Looking closely at the pictures, it appears to be similar to the HMP in that respect.
A great cook is one who can rustle up a fabulous family meal with some freezer burnt chops, wilted carrots, sprouting potatoes and cabbage that's gone brown on the cut edges.

Don't tell anyone Jamberie, I am too. ;) ;) I certainly won't be buying a new one as I have the HMP, but I am very keen to see what it has.

I am very interested in all the hype but truly not interested in buying a new  machine as the existing model does everything that I want and need and I love it. I have absolutely no need to upgrade no matter what the new model may do.
Still excited though  ;D

I don't have a thermomix and just started researching them. Very keen to see if a new model is released & what it can do.

I have no idea what that says Gert, But I don't think they're putting all the fancy shmancy stuff on in Grand Paree for a simple recipe change in a demo!

They are creating some interest by keeping it all hush hush, bit of free advertising really! The whole world is in a fluster over it!

Waiting waiting waiting!!! ;D
