Welcome back - are you just in time for the October TMX promo??? I would love another bowl. :)

Dee, it looks like you've married the new and the old nicely:  best of both worlds,  ;)
And never too late for intros!  Nice to meet you  :)
Ditto! Exactly what I was about to write!! Thanks Deeau - (I now know what that means now) you could certainly cater for a small army.  :)

Sorry Tasty - I did not answer as I'm not sure what's over your side of the country. The 'westie gals' need to answer this one for you. But As JD said all of these things are available in supermarkets or healthfood shop. Do you have Paul's milk over there? They make an organic unhomogenised milk. (only the one in the green carton like picture below, the organic one that is in blue carton is homogenised) That's what pasteurised only is (only pasteurised and not homogenised). If you find somewhere that will sell raw milk even better but is against the law to sell it in Australia for human consumption so is sold as bath milk or pet milk.  You will find "cold pressed" on your bottle if it is and most Australian olive oils are. Our Woolies has Earth's Choice Tamari in 'health food' section. Spiral foods organic brown rice vinegar can be found in same section. Check health food shop for almond oil and tea should be in tea section at supermarket if not check healthfood store. Hope this helps.  ;)

Thinking of you again Nay-nay . . . I am making 100s of scones this weekend for the school fete with my grade, they freeze really well.  I wouldn't have attempted this without your superb recipe!
Never would attempt that many (especially with kids!) - you are a super-teacher!  ;)
PS I love the new look avatar that means we can actually see you!
Not sure that's good thing.  :-))

Yeah for sure - it's not so much about losing weight as it is about healthy living.  ;)

Hi and welcome helenis - Like you when I first started it split every single time - I still don't know why cause I don't think I do anything different but I would always just clean bowl out add new yolk and vinegar and feed the split mix back in and it would work the second go round. I started to think this was just the way I would have to do it but something clicked and it works first time most times now. But it is good to know that all is not lost you can use your split mix to make whole again.  ;)

I think it needs to get up to 160oC so TMX doesn't get hot enough for this job.  :-[

That's the type I use if camping or have no power and hubby does not like it either. But the electric can opener is the only one that has even worked every time without fail and have not had to replace (got it for wedding pressie).  ;)
