That meat should be very nice KAtie. I miss my delicious sheep from the farm.

We’ve had GS for a week and he went back to a London this afternoon. I had forgotten how much he eats.😂

K ATIE, I loved reading about your lamb for the freezer. Reminded me of when our kids were small and I would go to the wholesale meat market in Melbourne and buy a whole lamb.  I could cut it up if the men at the market would split it down the middle.  I would take them a chocolate cake.  I would have a clean sheet in the boot of the car and wold wrap it in this.  Home was just 10 minutes away.
Did vey little yesterday.

Cookie you are amazing doing that . Very tasty.
Just another stressful day , but all good . Must say I distracted myself by doing heaps of washing to catch the beautiful  sunny day. Even put our very special quilt to air on the clothesline. DM made it for me it’s a liberty one .

Today we drove from our camp at Wubin Rocks to Payne’s Find. It’s a very tiny former gold mining town. There are a few resurrected gold mines around. This is the town in its entirety.

Oh my. It looks like a caravan park with cabin accomodation. How far are they to the next decent sized town?

Thanks for the photos Cookie.  They remind me of our trip to the west.  We stayed in Dalwallinu on our way down from the north.

Oh Chookie, so as well as being an amazing cook, you can sew as well.

Mich it is about 150km to the nearest town from Payne’s Find.
Today we travelled up to Mount Magnet. https://www.aussietowns.com.au/town/mount-magnet-wa
It’s a very old gold mining town that has been resurrected as it is now worth mining the gold again. They have both open cut and decline mines.
We went out on their tourist drive today and found it quite beautiful.

 Not much happening here.

It looks very 'red' out there, Cookie, reminded me of Kalgoorlie when we were working in the gold mines a long, long time ago.

I am trying to catch up on things on here as I have been AWOL for a while now; I really don't know where time goes.  There is just so much going on just now between preparing for first stage 3 lockdown, with very little notice to prepare anything, then going straight into stage 4 lockdown once again with no time to get organised, to sorting out the bureaucracy to bumbling along trying to keep everything under control, sorting out staff who can work from home, feeling sorry for our two makers in the workshop who are stuck at home with kids as they are outside the 5 km zone and cannot come to work as we are not considered an essential service (much to many of our customer's dismay).  At the beginning I thought I had about 2 week's worth of work to keep me going, now I am not sure that I will get it all done before the 6 week lockdown is over (I bought three jigsaws to keep me quiet, but I cannot see me being able to finish them all before lockdown is all over).  DH has enough work to keep him going for at least 2 - 3 years, so he is just plodding along in his workshop, keeping his head down.

CC, I assume you are in your new home by now, but I am so far behind with everything that is happening on here just now that I haven't seen any posts.  Hope you are in and comfortable and that Chance has approved of the changes.
