Article in The West Australian.
« on: January 11, 2014, 05:56:40 am »
There is an article in today's West about some chefs opening the new thermomix headquarters in Balcatta. I think the journalist has made a couple of mistakes in it. She mentions that the thermomix freezes and also bakes bread. It is the story of Grace seeking the franchise and what has happened since. I found it fairly interesting except for the blatant mistakes.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.

Don't you hate reading those negative comments from people who have no idea how good this machine is.  They should find our forum and see for themselves that it's full of very happy customers.  We don't have to justify our ownership, I know which side the fence I'd rather be and I've never been one to want to keep up with the Joneses.

Just as an aside, did you know the chef at the Antarctic base uses a TMX? There was an article in The Age a few weeks ago about Xmas dinner at Mawson.
It always surprises me how vicious people can be over a kitchen appliance. Get over it people, and let us get on with our cooking!

Just read this, what a load of rubbish. I never take any notice of anyone proclaiming to be an expert. We have a saying in our house about experts. Ex is the unknown factor and spert (spurt) is a drip under pressure.

I thought the comments at the end of the article to be interesting.  Apparently we are all "cashed up bogans"!

The only thing these people know is the price. The facts have just gone straightover their heads. Oh well, each to their own. The article never mentioned anything about making wonderful friends, and forum fests  ;D (priceless)

Just because we are all bogan cult lovers does not make us bad people.
