Review Curried Pumpkin Soup ITM2 page 31

At first I thought, not another pumpkin soup but this one is certainly different with the addition of vermouth, white wine and an assortment of other ingredients not usually found in pumpkin soup recipes.  It is a thin soup served in a mug or glass with a skewer of cured fish resting on the top.  I gave the fish part a miss and am happy just to have this soup on it's own with some toast.  Nice flavours, probably not one the children would like and I'm sure you could add more pumpkin if you wanted a thicker soup.

It sounds lovely Judy. We like all sorts of Pumpkin soups. I am becoming more and more convinced that I may buy this book. Will hang out for a while though.
May all dairy items in your fridge be of questionable vintage.
