I was making a batch of Chicken Kiev’s at 11 pm last night so I’m having one tonight. Cookie mentioned them recently which reminded me that I haven’t made them for ages.

Last night we had haloumi burgers. I used Chookie's No Fuss recipe for the rolls, I added oatbran, some spelt flour and seeds. I also made them into long rolls instead of round ones. It fits the haloumi in easier!

Tonight I have mince out of the freezer, I'm not sure what it will be yet.

Judy hope the chicken kievs were Delicious . DD was dragged home for Anzac holiday so I though favorite meal was in order . TM31 BCB  bolognese   had no stock so added a little bacon . They grow up so fast but still love food that is so basic and repeated . Must say it was very good . Meanwhile DS and DH plus one DS friends went camping for the night , they had a BB Que and Bimby chocolate cake for DS 13Th birthday , not till Friday ,

We had Massaman Curry Meatballs from Best Recipes site.  Everyone liked them.  I toned down the curry paste as I have never used it before.

Snapper and fried rice .
Everyone loved the Sticky Date Pud that I made last night.   There really is no need to follow the method.  Do the first part of cooking the dates in the water, add carb soda then sugar and butter.  When cooled down add eggs and flour. Double the sauce.

No idea what to cook tonight, Anzac day has thrown us out of whack! I'm thinking a nice chicken soup in the crock pot, weather is rainy here in NSW!

Soup is always lovely Alison.
We are having steamed potatoes, with a little chopped red onion, peas, and zucchini spirals with smoked salmon stirred through, all with a lemony mayonnaise on. Also a few chives and a bit of parsley. Quick and easy.
