I had planned on making quite a few things and having an unheard of day at home, but unfortunately got a call at about 10am to say my brother had passed away in the early hours of the morning. He was the reason I decided to do the dry July challenge raising money for cancer. We weren't close and he was a loner all his life so not a lot to organize, but its very difficult for my elderly parents particularly my father as he was the only boy in a family of 8 children. It's going to be a very hard few days helping them through and getting this organized.

My thoughts are with you Frozzie.

Sorry for your loss Wonder, Dry July would be a lovely dedication.

Thanks Obbie for the web site link.

Already feeling more in control just having done a budget and writing it down.  The biggest problem is my DH's spending.  Now he can see were the money is going and now realises how much the bills are.  We can also see where the big bill months are and be a bit more prepared for them.

As my Grandmother always would say, "Look after the pennies and the pounds would save themselves"
