Judy, well done with the cleaning. I’m sure it was appreciated.
Yesterday had a wonderful morning at Prahran Market and Essential Ingredient. Best happening was that I have picked up a recipe for a Walnut, Beetroot and Ginger cake. It is made with Rosella flour.  This is a special wheat especially good for cakes. We had the cake for lunch and I was so impressed that I asked what was in it.  They sold me some of the flour.

Thanks girls, DD sure did appreciate good old Mum’s help.  I had a great night’s sleep and not aching too much this morning.  Off for a coffee catch-up with my Probus friends this morning so a relaxing day for me today.
Look forward to your cake recipe appearing on the forum Chookie.

Mab, medical appointments are a necessary nuisance.  Had my eyes checked today.  All ok.

Judy I’m sure DD appreciated your help.
Yes Margaret it is a Donkey Orchid. Yesterday we stayed at Elachbutting rock. It is a free camp and there is no coverage there. It was absolutely freezing. I slept with a scarf and beanie. No electricity so no heater.  It’s all part of the fun. Today we drove through Beacon, Koorda and tonight we are at wyalkatchem. The crops are looking wonderful and all the tiny towns seem to try so hard to make them attractive.

This is Elachbutting Rock.

This is s salt lake we passed and thought looked very pretty.

Cookie,  thanks for the photos.   We are again enjoying your holiday. That Salt Lake looks pretty desolate.

Cookie, love your travel photos.  No matter how dry the country is there is still some beauty to be seen.

Dr visit simply confirmed what I already knew.  My back is beyond repair and I am now waiting for a date for my knee replacement.
DH had his denture repaired but now needs a new one.   We are both high maintenance at the moment.

Another 5 hours down with DD cleaning etc, settlement tomorrow so I’m all done there.
Margaret I sympathise with your back problem, some things we have to just live with and our backs are usually one of those things.  I will suffer now for a few more hours but I know with rest it will return to normal and I will then pace myself again.  When the kids need help we Mums like to help out even though we know the consequences.

Mab, sorry to hear about your ailments.  High maintenance goes with ageing.  The alternative is worse.
Judy,  rest up now. It is rewarding that you could help.
We are home now and although the luxury is nice, it is also nice to be home.
