Me too Baf65. I asked everyone in the family if they'd like to come and they said no!. So I'm going by myself!  See it's the same day as the Christmas Pageant, not that it matters to me as my baby is 27.

Yeh Im going to the evening one as I cant make the morning session, and no doubt I'll have to take my babies to the pageant!!

not sure what suburb you live in Cookie but Thermomix are also running back to basics classes, if you havent been to one of those they are worth going to, even tho they do recipes that are mainly in the recipe book I have found its always helpful to see them being made and for $10 its a cheap night out!!  Also Loose Produce in Como run small classes every couple of months for TM owners with some new recipes

Thanks Baf65. I live in Canning Vale and I see that there is a Back to Basics class in Applecross later in November. I thought I might try to get to that or one later as I'm sure I'll have lots of questions after I've had the thermomix for a bit.
I'm going to the morning Christmas session.  I hope you enjoy the pageant, it was always fun when we used to go.
Will look out for the sessions run by Loose Produce in Como-that's not far away. Thanks.

We were sold out for Perth Festive Classes, but there a couple of extra tickets available for the morning class if anyone is interested. You will need to phone HO and book them, just pick the tickets up at the door...hope to see someone use them as we have turned away heaps of people!

I've just returned from the lunchtime Christmas class.  It was really good and all the food was excellent.  I also picked up lots of little tips that I was unaware of.
Tenina, your noodles looked lovely doing a little dance around, sticking out of the top of the bowl. The dish you made (Mango Macadamia Chicken Noodles) was really tasty.
I am even more impressed with things the Thermomix can do than before.  I can hardly wait to go shopping and buy the ingredients for the almond cheeseball. I will have to practise making it lots and lots before Christmas.  (yum)

Hey cookie1 - want to share some of those tips ???  I agree that even at the Back to Basics you can still get something new, and for $10 it's always worth it.

No Tenina, I didn't.  Was chatting to Grace (I think) for quite some time and couldn't see you when I'd finished.  Next year.
Thanks again.  Have made the cupcakes from the calendar-very nice.

Thermomixer, the tips I gained are probably old hat to people who have been using their machines for some time, but here's a couple I remember.
Squeeze your lemon directly onto the lid of the machine, the MC will stop the seeds going in-no need to use a juicer.
To release dough or anything similar easily, simply turn the bowl upside down and wriggle the blades.  I've been labourously scraping things out with the spatula.
To get dip etc off the blades after you have scraped it out, simply give a turbo pulse and food on the blade will fly off. Easier to get the rest out. (lid on of course)
Hopefully I have explained them clearly!

Thanks for the tips - hadn't seen the "tip it upside down and wiggle it" tip before.

Hi VC not sure where you are but I do think they are fully booked out in Perth. Would be worth ringing HO just to find out though, you never know someone may have cancelled!
