Just watched Julie in action. She reminds me of me, when I first started using the thermomix. Hahaha.

Same here Kim but I think because she is an 'ordinary' person (I mean no offence here) she may appeal to the everyday housewife and home cook.  I think having an ambassador is a great idea, it does make people sit up and notice.  I once also subscribed to the newsletter but haven't received it for a very long time.  In fact I thought they must have discontinued it until Karen recently did a recipe from it and sent me a copy.

Sorry to say I'm not a fan of Julie's either. Will be interesting to see if she brings in business for them. I never really see marketing to people other than current owners, so I personally think they need to overall their marketing strategy.
