I loved it Gert - having had a very busy week with visitors or going out every day, this was what I needed to unwind.  Have to pull my head in now though.

Judy, what great meat bargains ;D you did well & the chickens, straight to the freezer.

The most expensive was the pork. Why is pork so expensive?

Picking up my meat today.
Woke up this morning & feel like I have done a few rounds with Mike Tyson & lost. Hope I am not coming down with anything.

Bought some radox yesterday, put it in the bath, its meant to relieve aches & pains, maybe it brings them out first & thats how it works. So no gym today >:(

Hally, Pork fillet at Foodland is over $24 a kg so I was really pleased with the $15.99 kg price tag at this place.  I have found pork has risen quite a bit in price these days, it used to be very cheap and we ate a lot of it but of late I don't seem to buy as much.

What a terrible day to feel down - all that meat to pack away.  Take it easy - if you can. xx

Halex, hope you survived the day Ok and filled your freezer up.
I went to the supermarket today, thinking that it would be a cheap week. Wrong. I bought the coffe bags I like as they were on special, and  spent $20 on salmon for dinner as we haven't had fish for a while. I've spent about $75 and still have to go to the market on Sunday. I should still come close to budget as the kids haven't eaten much fruit this week.

I know. I needed a loaf of bread and a tub of cream to go with my pumpkin scones today. I walked into the supermarket with the 2 kids, and walked out with a loaf of bread and a tub of cream. That's it. Nothing else.

:o  u must be still  in shock, did it feel good  ;D
