A lot has been happening on the forum since I was last on.  Marina I hope your OP goes well.

I have had an interesting 12 days in hospital.  4 days in the West Gippsland Hospital and 8 days in the Dandenong Hospital.  I had not been eating properly for quite some time and then I had 5 days of being unable to keep food or liquid down.  I went from 72kg down to 60kg.  The problem is with my oesophagus which goes into spasm.   There have been lots of tests and still more to be done.  Unfortunately there is no cure for this.  In the hospital I was being fed through a nasal tube to try and build me up a bit.  Now my meals will need to be mostly soft foods like thin soups and pureed meals, nothing that is lumpy or has solid food in it.  This came as a bit of a shock but hopefully things will improve in time. I think my TMX is going to be working overtime.

I didn’t get to make fig and lime jam this year , it’s a Dani Valent recipe on Cookidoo . Might be good with ham .

Did lots of odd jobs at home waiting for a return phone call ! Never got to do the shopping as it was too late , another freezer made dinner as not vegetables left . Washed the rest of the shelves in my fridge . It looks great just the door shelves now . I have totally culled out everything . Opportunity when fridge is totally empty .Chucked out freezer food that had been in there to long and squirrelled to the back . Found 3 open boxes of tempura fish !! Really . Must have been the boys . Finerly solving the chook creatures out ! Hopefully they will stop eating the eggs 🥚.

Gym this morning, then trip to Office Works.
Bought a small ice making machine from Amazon. The previous one died after many years of use. Also small gift boxes and bags so I can give jam and cakes in something nice.
Marina, thinking of you.

Cookie, how very exciting.
Last night I made a stir fry. Beef, mushrooms, snow peas, water chestnuts and cashew nuts. Enough for 2 meals.

Very true Judy.

We were unexpectedly busy this afternoon so had fish and chips for dinner. We went over to see how the motorhome schedule was going. Apparently it’s all according to plan at the moment. We will see if it keeps on track. We then went to look at Suzuki Jimney.  We will sell one of our cars and buy one to tow behind the motorhome.  All in the future at the moment.

That must be very disappointing Judy.

I ended up having a bit of my daughter’s fettuccine with prawns, you couldn’t even see where it went missing from her huge serve. At this time of the year you’d think hotels and restaurants would have soup on the menu.
