I'm sure we will soon see your results Maddy.  You must have a very tolerant husband - I know some who would cut up their DW's credit card if she bought as much as you  ;D ;D   I think we should crown you Cake Cup & Shopping Queen  ;)

I didn't buy it but I received this in the mail from DD1 who lives in Melbourne and shops at Cosco. It is the most delicious and addictive popcorn I have ever tasted and DH asked me to take it away from him once he started on it. Described on the tin as 'clusters of almonds, pecans & gourmet popcorn covered in our amazing glaze' - I'd love to be able to share this big 850g tin with you all.

I've had that one JD and I know exactly what you mean. I'm a real sucker for popcorn and often go to the movies just for that reason.

Costco is only an hour away from me......do I dare to venture there ? :P
I have had it on good authority, they sell whole wheels of triple brie cheese for $25.00!  :o
Thinking it's worth the yearly membership just to buy the cheese, and vacuum pack it all !

LOL.....luckily he loves me enough to ignore the shopping thing   :P

DD took us there for a look last time we were in Melbourne.  You can buy anything and everything there Hally and for people who don't like to cook (not the members of this forum) you wouldn't believe all the things they have that you just have to heat up or cut into.  Bulk packs of everything, it is amazing to see and if you are having a party - wow, way to go ;)
Maddy, you would truly love it and it has to be worth the yearly membership. If you know a member, you can go in with them as their guest which is what we did. It was a real eye opener, I loved it.

maddy my problem is using everything i buy lol (i dont) so DH occasionally has a mini hissy when he sees cooking gear all over our ver large dining table to give me space in teh kitchen.. but doesnt actually stop me its me who stops myself (he did try years back cutting up a credit card but that backfired lol and he has never mentioned it since!) and I would need a commercial size kitchen to get regular use out of all my bits and pieces anyway....very frustrating...just probably lucky for DH that our kitchen is small !!  As you may or may not be aware...most houses and kitchens in europe are small in comparison to say oz or the states and its hard to down size when you have come from living in large houses in oz lol and because of building laws in France anyway you would have to have a mega block of land to be able to build a decent size house (some stupid ratio rule which is why alotof people have two storey homes here and also because of land space) ..but the day we head back to oz or somewhere else...thats going to be my number one requirement...decent size house and kitchen lol!
